Established on the Sunshine Coast, Australia in the winter of 2026, Sunray Ave was created for women who love the ocean, the outdoors, and that unmistakable feeling of freedom that comes from salt water, sunshine, and movement.
We design long sleeve, one piece swimsuits made to move with you for paddle boarding, boating, waterfall hikes, snorkelling, and every golden, salt soaked moment in between. Our pieces are bold yet timeless, tropical yet earthy, and thoughtfully created for women who want to focus on the experience, not on adjusting their swimsuit.
Sunray Ave was born from founder Rahni Cassidy’s years of searching for a swimsuit that could truly keep up with her lifestyle. Happiest outdoors, on the water, exploring the coast, or travelling somewhere new, Rahni found that many long sleeve one piece swimsuits were made for posing, not living. They dug in, rode up, and never quite felt right. After years of throwing on the same oversized denim long sleeve shirt she got from Kmart over her bikinis for coverage; while still loving the relaxed look, she wanted something more elevated that could be worn both in and out of the water. So, she set out to create something different; swimsuits that blend style, comfort, and function for real movement.
Our swimsuits are crafted from a recycled poly spandex blend (82% recycled polyester, 18% spandex) that feels incredibly soft, lightweight, and supportive. The fabric is highly resistant to chlorine and everyday wear, designed to hold its shape and colour over time. Each piece hugs you in all the right places; supporting the bust, smoothing the tummy, and ensuring the bum stays covered, even when you’re active.
Designed with generous coverage in mind, our long sleeves and high coverage cuts help cover your skin during long days outdoors; from early morning swims to afternoons spent chasing the sun. They’re made to feel secure, comfortable and classy so you can move freely without second guessing your swimwear.
Our prints are thoughtfully developed in collaboration with international designers, with every design direction, fit decision, and detail guided from Australia. Each swimsuit is ethically manufactured in Bali using recycled fabrics, in a workshop we’ve personally visited; a place filled with skilled craftsmanship, care, and genuinely lovely people. (They also seem to be perpetually on island time… which may explain a launch delay or two.)
